I've recently become a fan of these guys, having seen a few of their live shows. This is the first and only CD of theirs that I've purchased yet, though I'm anxiously awaiting Vol. 5.

Let me just say that this music is unique and awesome. It's hard and fast for the most part, storming out of the gates with the face melting inferno of, "Black Out Your Heart Man". The best thing about this album is that even at its most bombastic, it retains a very listenable melodic sensibility. Combine sweep picking scale runs with bendy Page/Floyd-esque solos, a consistent dual guitar "wall of sound" reminiscent of Judas Priest and Iron maiden, then add in a little bit of Pantera polish and you might have something close to The House Harkonnen.

Standout tracks are, "Black Out Your Heart Man", "Bullet", "You Are", "Waiting to Die" and "Emma". The solo at the end of, "Emma" is worth the price of admission for this EP, by itself. Check out this CD- highly recommended!
